The Giggle Company was founded in 2009 by two sisters; Tara and Ruth - both with a passion for igniting children's imaginations and making them giggle!

In Ruth’s words

The Giggle Company came out of a desire to connect and communicate with children. As a dancer with an interest in the therapeutic affects of creative arts, I love observing children and helping them grow! It is so rewarding to see children with little self esteem grow in confidence, come out of their shells and blossom, and just from the subtlest of interventions. I come alive with children and feel honoured every time I’m asked to host a party. It’s vital no one gets left out! I make sure I engage individually with each and every child, ensuring they leave with the biggest smile on their face.

Once upon a time…

I was born in Hong Kong into an extremely loving family. I danced, sang and played my way through childhood. I studied Dance at university and went on to work abroad, using dance as therapy to those in need. I have found that running children’s parties offers an opportunity to utilise my skills, harness my creativity and interact with children on a daily basis. I love what I do!

The Giggle family

I employ a small group of fully trained and DBS checked entertainers, who are hand picked (I am very fussy), nurtured and celebrated as members of the Giggle family. I look for individuals who have boundless amounts of energy and intuitive sensitivity. I am incredibly proud of the consistently high level of service and mountains of fun they bring to parties! Our training is ongoing, rigorous and always being updated.
