In keeping with Ruth’s vision to ensure every child is engaged individually, she employs a small group of trained and DBS checked entertainers who are hand picked, nurtured and celebrated as members of the Giggle family. Training is ongoing and always being updated to keep things fresh. The Giggle team all share a love of children and their smiles and are chosen for their energy and intuitive sensitivity. In Ruth’s own words, "I am VERY fussy about who I hire to ensure every Giggle party is delivered with consistent top quality entertainment - you have my word that you will love every single one of my team - they are all AMAZING! :D”

Ruth

The Giggle Company manager!

Ruth has been the co-pilot in the company's journey since the very beginning and bought the company off her sister Tara in 2017 to evolve the business. With a background in contemporary dance and performing arts, Ruth is passionate about the way creative arts can be used to help with mental health, and this together with her passion to see children smile has lead to her success with The Giggle Company. She is a natural with children and to this day, feels honoured every time she is asked to party!

Shauna

The Giggle Company DIY queen!

Shauna is a bubbly Yorkshire girl living in London! Since graduating, she has danced as a semi finalist in Britains Got Talent & worked alongside artists such as Tove Lo & George Ezra. As well as being an entertainer, Shauna works behind the scenes preparing party kits and costumes for the upcoming weekend ahead - she is a DIY queen! Other passions of hers are breathing fire, stilt walking & teaching dance to kids & adults! Since joining the team in 2018, Shauna remains passionate about making children laugh (kids find her hilarious!) and loves making every child feel special! She is a big kid herself :)

Charlotte

Rosie

Rosie is a professional actress who has appeared in shows such as The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, Mamma Mia, Cats and Hairspray where she played the understudy of the lead role Tracey Turnblad! She has been working for the giggle company since 2014 (over 10 years!) and still absolutely loves it! She also plays guitar and sings for Spread a Smile, who provide entertainment for children in hospitals.

Georgia

Georgia is a Birmingham born and raised performer, yet moved to London at 17 to peruse her dreams of being an actress. She most recently performed in Sleeping Beauty panto and the European Arena Tour with Hans Zimmer. Alongside her performing life she teaches dance, nanny’s children and of course works for the Giggle Company (since 2022) - and being a kid at heart, she always enjoys her work!

Tara

The Giggle Company founder! During her late teens and at university, Tara taught singing at a Saturday theatre school and saw first hand how those with little self-esteem grew in confidence. An award-winning documentary filmmaker, Tara loves making films but while shooting in Africa, she found herself captivated by the infectious giggles of the children who interacted with her camera. She then realised what she really wanted to do was be with children and see them smile. The idea for the Giggle company was born!

Leanne

Leanne is a professional dancer and dance teacher, graduating from "The Northern School Of Contemporary Dance" in 2014. She has toured around Europe with a performance company and worked alongside some of UK’s top choreographers. Since joining the Giggle team in 2014, Leanne remains passionate and enthusiastic, determined to make every child feel special and leave with a smile on their face. Her fluid energy and expressiveness brings a special quality to parties - we are very lucky to have her!
